Spelling

So I guess this is probably when the most learning takes place according to 'experts' (whoever they are..lol)...informally and in the child's own time.

She was watching Sallie (more on her later) play and she saw her dry erase board right there and asked me what she should write. I told her a few words (mostly ones she has been 'trying' to read for 3 weeks now). She got them all right. Then I gave her a NEW word..PET...she hasn't read that one yet. She wrote it down...right! I was so proud of her.

She stopped writing only because she dropped the board and wiped a few letters off of it.
