3 parts of a bee

While Raelee was off looking for ants, I found some bee's on my mint and basil. They are hard suckers to get pictures of!!! I was just reading On Beyond Bugs by Dr. Seuss (I highly recommend this series BTW!) and thought to bring up the pictures to show Raelee the 3 parts of insects. The book even talked about the pollen behind the bee's knee's. It was fun to show her an actual picture I took today of something she learned.

I pointed out the Head, thorax and abdomen to Raelee. She said "the thorax has the wings" YAY
