I'm hoping it'll be a while before we have to buy a store bought cucumber (at $.75 a pop!!) We picked this fresh out of our garden. There are plenty more that will be ready in the next few days too. :) I love spring and summer.

Love home grown veggies no matter what the cost is at the store. They are always supreme to the bought ones. Glad you have found the love of gardening. May grands seed of growth stay with you forever - it certainly has me.
Agreeing 100% with Cajunsis!! They taste better, and it's so fun for kids (of all ages - ah-hem) to see the fruit of their labor, so to speak! :) When the girls wake up, we'll get to go pick our first two squash today!
