Granny and Papa come to town!

Granny and Papa came for a few days to watch Raelee's dance production. It's always exciting when they come to visit. This time, we were glad that Todd was home to enjoy the visit as well. Seems like he is always gone when they come, or when I go up there.

We didn't have much time and the time we did have was full of dance production stuff. We were able to go see some of my mom and dad's friends in Hammond and that was nice. I hadn't seen them in a while and we laughed nearly the entire time. They are funny people.

We were able to spend the mornings sitting in the backyard watching the chickens peck. Dad and Gracie chicken got to know each other really well...lol

Of course we got to go to global wildlife. That was amazing!!!

We also went fishing. It was fun bringing my mom and dad out in our boat. Not very much extra space but we made it work.  Got to show them our favorite fishing holes and catch a few here and there. Mom even caught her first fish...not a keeper, but still.

Raelee's dance production was great, as always!  She did a fantastic job and their costumes were super cute. The theme this year was Princess and the Frog. Raelee's class were the VooDoo Queens. Very cute.

Mom and Dad's visit was too short, but we are hoping to get back up to their house very soon!!
