Ever had one of those moments where you wonder what the heck you just got yourself into? This was me...after making a marathon trip to two feed stores and a friend's house to pick up chicken's and supplies.
We made it home RIGHT as a very very bad storm hit...crazy amount of scary wind. We made it through just fine...and so did the 'girls'. We haven't named them yet...well, Raelee named one Pecker.
I can definitely tell them apart already though...even within the same breed. They have distinct markings.
Let me introduce you to them.

| This has been the site all evening. She is in love! |
 |
| Rhode Island Red and Buff Orphington getting some chow. |
 |
| Dogs....not so sure about this chicken thing. "NO BIRD" can be heard frequently. |
 |
| Barred Rock. They sure are pretty. |
 |
| Rhode Island Reds are the two on teh far lefthand side. |
 |
| Buff Orphington. These guys are quite shy. |
 |
| The whole flock! |
It's guaranteed to be a long night...bad weather, dogs going nuts over weather and birds, my oh my...what have I gotten myself into.

Oh, wow! So is this a 4-H project, or just for fun?
You got yourself into a lot of work with sextuplets. Sounds like fun though.
I am sorry, it is OCTuplets isn't it?? Lol...
